In Philippines, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) / OSHC requires that all workers receive site-specific and general industry induction before commencing work. Under Republic Act 11058 (2018) — OSH Law / DOLE Department Order 198-18, failure to induct workers is a primary liability for employers and can result in fines of up to PHP 100,000 per day. TESDA / OSHC-accredited provider recognises industry induction as foundational to worker competency.
